About Me

A native Nevadan, born and raised in the Reno area, Cameron Clarkson has been active in the community for over 50 years. He earned his accounting degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and returned to Reno to work in public accounting, specializing in small business growth.

Founding Clarkson Accounting in 2000, his vision was to educate and assist business owners to understand all aspects of running a successful business, including the legal and financial duties of small businesses. Paired with his experience and definitive style of educating and coaching, his investment in his clients is reflected in the success of numerous small businesses throughout the Reno and Lake Tahoe area that have reached their accounting and financial goals.

Cameron’s passion is reflected in many facets of his life. Foremost is to help small business owners achieve their dreams, while personally you can find him pursuing an outdoor and active lifestyle. From skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to riding horses and camping in the summer, his endurance and pursuit of success are obvious.
